Minister for Post and Telecommunications, Karim Bibi Triki, took part in a ministerial round table at the World Summit on the Information Society (WSIS) Forum in Geneva, Switzerland, on the main progress made in the development of the global information society, a high-level event in which participating ministers shared their countries’ experiences in this field in order to reduce the digital divide.

Chaired by Minister of Post and Telecommunications, Mr. Karim Bibi Triki, the Algerian delegation participating in the World Summit on the Information Society (WSIS), held in Geneva-Switzerland, met on Tuesday, May 28, 2024, with the Chinese delegation, chaired by Mr. SHAN Zhongde, Deputy Minister of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology.

Chaired by the Minister of Post and Telecommunications, Mr. Karim Bibi Triki, the Algerian delegation participating in the World Summit on the Information Society (WSIS), held in Geneva-Switzerland, met on Tuesday, May 28, 2024, with the Saudi delegation, chaired by Doctor Mohamed Al-Tamimi, President of the Commission on Communication, Space and Technology, in the presence of Mr. Mohamed El Hadi Hannachi, President of the Council of the Postal and Electronic Communications Regulatory Authority.

As part of his participation in the Forum of the World Summit on the Information Society (WSIS) held in Geneva, Minister of Post and Telecommunications Mr. Karim Bibi Triki has partaken in a high-level discussion panel of ministers and senior executives of telecoms from all over the world on Tuesday, May 28th, 2024.

Minister of Post and Telecommunications Mr.Karim Bibi Triki has supervised on Saturday, May 18th, 2024, with Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development Mr.Youcef Chorfa, the release of a postage stamp on the general census of agriculture 2024, scheduled from May 19th to July 17th, 2024.

Minister of Post and Telecommunications, Mr. Karim Bibi-Triki has visited the province of Tiaret on Wednesday 24 April 2024 as part of a working and inspection visit to supervise the commissioning of some infrastructures of the sector for the benefit this area’s citizens.

Minister of Post and Telecommunications Mr.Karim Bibi-Triki has supervised the opening of a conference on « Intelligent finance: to surf the future via AI », organized by « Algérie Poste » on Monday, April 15th, 2024 in Algiers, in the presence of the High Commissioner for Digitisation as well as the Chairman of Committee on Transport and Telecommunications of the People’s National Assembly .

Karim Bibi-Triki, Minister of Post and Telecommunications, together with Taha Derbal, Minister of Hydraulics, supervised on Wednesday March 06, 2024, the signing of an agreement between mobile phone operators “Mobilis, Djezzy and Ooredoo” and the SEAAL company to launch a new free service called “SEAAL CONNECT”.
