With over thirty years of experience in the ICT and digital field, Mr. Karim BIBI TRIKI has held several positions in national and foreign companies.
He started his professional career in 1992 with public economic company ALFATRON Electronic Industries JSC, in which he held the following positions:
- Engineer of Development, in charge of designing computer motherboards;
- Manager of Network Solutions Integration Department,
- Manager of Engineering & Development,
- Assistant General Manager,
- Chief Executive Officer from January 2001 to July 2009.
He also worked, during eleven years, for American Intel Corporation, global leader in the microprocessors and ICT field, as General Director for the Maghreb region, Egypt & Levant, responsible for defining and supervising the implementation of Intel’s development strategy, through the various “Business Units”, vertical segments and ecosystem partners.
With a heavy background in the technological sphere, he brings his expertise to the national telecommunications sector as a Chief Executive Officer of Group Telecom Algeria (public economic and joint-stock company), as from September 2020.
His appointment as Minister of Post and Telecommunications was on July 7th, 2021.
Mr. Karim BIBI TRIKI was born on August 16th, 1968 in Algeria. He was granted the Degree of State engineer in electronics in 1991 from the University of Science and Technology – Oran, Algeria.
