Ministry of Post and Telecommunications: Protecting Your Personal Data is a Priority!

The Ministry of Post and Telecommunications (MPT) is committed to complying with the provisions of Law No. 18-07 on the protection of natural persons in the processing of personal data. The Ministry is committed to ensuring the confidentiality and security of personal data when interacting with its services and benefits.

PURPOSE

This policy aims to inform you of the MPT’s practices for collecting, using, and storing personal data, as well as your rights and available means of contact.

Persons Concerned

This policy applies to all users of MPT services, service providers, employees, Ministry partners, and all persons related to the Ministry’s activities.

The data collected by the Ministry includes:

  • Civil status data and identity information (name, first name, gender, date of birth, signatures).
  • Your contact details (postal address, email address, phone number).
  • Data on your economic, financial and tax situation.
  • Your bank or postal account details.
  • Information about your career and performance (CV, positions, date of hire, performance reports).
  • Training data, professional experience and job skills.
  • Data relating to your visit to the Ministry.
  • Video surveillance and data recording during your visits to the Ministry.

The Ministry adopts robust technical and organizational security measures to protect personal data from unauthorized access, use, disclosure, modification or destruction. Personal data is used only for the purposes for which it was collected.

You can exercise any of the above rights by contacting the Data Protection Officer. A copy of an identity document must accompany your request in order to be processed.
