Mobile phone operators Mobilis, Djezzy and Ooredoo sign an agreement with SEAAL to launch new free “SEAAL CONNECT” service

Karim Bibi-Triki, Minister of Post and Telecommunications, together with Taha Derbal, Minister of Hydraulics, supervised on Wednesday March 06, 2024, the signing of an agreement between mobile phone operators “Mobilis, Djezzy and Ooredoo” and the SEAAL company to launch a new free service called “SEAAL CONNECT”.

This service allows SEAAL to send its customers an SMS to inform them of :

-new invoices without having to use the old method of printing and distributing invoices,

-notification to customers of maintenance work or the occurrence of a serious technical problem via SMS targeting geographically relevant customers,

-targeted SMS messages in the event of excessive consumption, to encourage customers to rationalize their consumption.

This initiative is part of the effort to bring the administration closer to the citizen and digitize public services, pursuant to the President of the Republic’s commitment no. 25 about digital transformation, aimed at improving communication and generalizing the use of ICTs, particularly in public service administration and improving public service governance.
