Minister of Post and Telecommunications, Mr.Karim Bibi Triki has chaired on November 11-12 in Algiers, the opening of the ITU regional workshop organized, under the aegis of his ministry, by Algérie Télécom jointly with the International Telecommunications Union (ITU) (Arab regional office) under the theme « Towards universal and meaningful connectivity for Arab region ».

Minister of Post and Telecommunications, Mr.Karim Bibi Triki has chaired, on Monday, Novembre 5th, 2024, alongside Minister of War Veterans and Right Holders Mr.Laïd Rebiga the ceremony of issuing a new series of stamps entitled : « The martyrs of November 1954-1962 »

In Ain Defla province, Minister of Post and Telecommunications, Mr.Karim Bibi Triki has supervised the official launch of the program related to the « Universal service of electronic communications » , on Monday, October 21st, in order to cover 1400 areas with low population density with public network of mobile communications.

Minister of Post and Telecommunications, Mr. Karim Bibi Triki has hosted a delegation of Ooredoo group led by its CEO Aziz Aluthman Fakhroo as well as Deputy CEO Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulla Al-Thani, Group Regional CEO Ahmad Al-Naama as well as CEO of Ooredoo Algeria Roni Tohme beside some executives of the Group working in Algeria, on Wednesday, October 2nd, 2024 in his ministerial department.

Minister of Post and Telecommunications, Mr. Karim Bibi Triki along with his counterpart Minister of Knowledge Economy, Start-ups and Micro-enterprises, Mr.Yacine El Mahdi Oualid have visited « EDUCTECK » exhibition on Thursday, September 19th, 2024, at the exhibition palace, pins Maritimes, Algiers due to take place on September 18-21, 2024.

Minister of Post and Telecommunications, Mr.karim Bibi Triki along with Minister of Finance, Mr. Laaziz Fayed and Governor of Banque d’Algérie (Bank of Algeria), Mr. Saleh Eddine Taleb have chaired a coordination meeting on how to develop e-payment methods on Thursday, September 12th, 2024.

Minister of Post and Telecommunications, Mr.Karim Bibi Triki has received Mr.Ali Al-Ali, Advisor to the board of directors of Baladna, a Qatari company, on Sunday, September 15th, 2024.

Minister of Post and Telecommunications, Mr.Karim Bibi Triki has chaired an orientation meeting by videoconference with regional directors of post and telecommunications in order to inquire about the progress rate of the project related to the connection of 1400 low-density areas (less than 2000 inhabitants) nationwide, with the public network of mobile telecommunications, launched lately.

Minister of Post and Telecommunications Mr.Karim Bibi Triki has received on Monday, August 12th, 2024 at his department’s headquarters, the Nigerien Minister of communication, posts and Digital Economy Mr. Sidi Mohamed Raliou.

The Minister insisted on the need for protecting children and enabling them to use the Internet for postitive and useful reasons at the celebration of their world day.

As part of his participation in the World Summit on the Information Society Forum in Geneva (Switzerland), Minister of Post and Telecommunications, Mr. Karim Bibi Triki, has met his Serbian counterpart, Mr. Dejan Ristic, Minister of Information and telecommunications.
