Minister of Post and Telecommunications, Mr. Sid Ali Zerrouki has chaired on Monday, June 16th, 2025 the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding by « Algérie Télécom » and leader in internet performance analysis « Ookla », in presence of Chairman of the Regulatory Authority of Post and Electronic Communications (ARPCE), Me.Mohamed El Hadi Hannachi.
This agreement aims to strengthen cooperation between the two bodies in terms of assessment of communication networks performance and to improve it.
This initiative is part of the promotion of internet services provided to citizens and aspires to position Algeria in international and regional rating as regards internet quality.
