He added, “We put the journalist at the heart of the change, not as information carrier, but as an actor in shaping the collective consciousness facing this strategic transformation.” He asserted, “the specialized and continuous training of journalists is no longer a choice, but rather an urgent need to serve the country and protect the
credibility of media discourse, mainly in terms of technology issues requiring accuracy and depth.”
In the same realm, the minister stated, “the 5G launch for mobile telephony in Algeria is a sovereign decision and a three-dimension investment: economic, sovereign and innovative. This technology is characterized by “a larger capacity of data transfer at an incredible speed with instant latency time as well as to connect smartly millions of devices and systems.”
The minister concluded by spotlighting the 5G importance as “a silent revolution, but also decisive, which is the backbone of the sovereign digital Algeria” while highlighting its role to face unfair international and regional rankings and reports which do not reflect the real investments made by the Algerian State, to prepare for the emergence of a knowledge-based economy fostering innovations and entrepreneurship in the light of the widespread use of AI and internet of objects, enabling a real digital transformation within the public administration and services both in big cities and border regions.
