As part of the implementation of the directives of the President of the Republic, aimed at encouraging the private sector to invest and strengthen its contribution to the development of the national economy, Mr. Sid Ali Zerrouki, Minister of Post and Telecommunications, paid a field visit on Monday, September 29, 2025, to “HB Technologies”, a company specialized in technological solutions, particularly electronics and highly secure smart cards.
The Minister was briefed in detail on the company’s activities and areas of expertise before touring the various production, research, and development units.
On this occasion, he urged the company’s executives to keep pace with rapid technological advancements and to respond effectively to the evolving needs of the market. He also emphasized the importance of boosting investment in high value-added technology sectors, as well as promoting research, development, and innovation.
Furthermore, he highlighted the need to enhance and encourage the use of local products, in line with the national strategy to rationalize foreign currency imports, showcase their competitiveness, and support national development efforts.
