A laudable tradition established and maintained by the Post and Telecommunications Sector, it’s an important competition event that takes on competition’s spirit, able to motivate Sector’s workers to achieve excellence and performance in the achievement of the objectives outlined.
On the other hand, the postmen’s walking has an important symbolism that values the spirit of Sector’s belonging and expresses the spirit of solidarity and brotherhood between postal workers, in addition to expressing the values of the Sector that aim to continuously improve public services for citizens, in order to achieve quality, while ensuring citizen proximity and effective participation in society’s activities.The competition is organized every year with the participation of different postmen’s age groups, as well as female participation. The postmen’s walking playoff phase is organized at wilayas level in the country, before the grand final celebrated by prizes’ awarding to winners of the national competition.
