As part of the preparations for Algeria’s hosting of the Intra-African Trade Fair (IATF-2025), scheduled to take place from September 4 to 10, 2025, Mr. Sid Ali Zerrouki, Minister of Post and Telecommunications, chaired, on Thursday, August 28, 2025, a briefing session attended by senior officials of the Ministry as well as executives from fixed and mobile telephony operators. The meeting aimed to review the final arrangements and fine-tune all details related to the organizational aspects concerning telecommunications.
During the session, and after listening to various presentations, the Minister issued a set of instructions designed to ensure comprehensive coverage of all aspects necessary for the success of this major event and to present a positive image of our country to the participating delegations throughout this important regional and international gathering, particularly through:
- Ensuring coverage with fixed and mobile telephony and Internet services of the highest quality, especially across all event venues and accommodation facilities.
- Providing tailored and attractive telecommunications packages and offers for participating guests.
