1. IMPROVE THE QUALITY OF POSTAL SERVICES AND POSTAL FINANCIAL SERVICES
Objective: Effective and efficient handling of citizens’ grievances in terms of quality of service, proximity of postal structures, compliance with delivery and distribution deadlines for postal items, as well as the simplification and security of postal financial transactions , in particular through:
- The simplification and dematerialization of procedures by exploiting data from biometric documents in financial operations, particularly during the operation of opening CCP accounts;
- Strengthening the national ATM network through additional acquisition and deployment operations;
- The mechanization of sorting mail, small packages and parcels;
- The deployment of the “Smart Box” solution across the postal network;
- The deployment of new mobile post offices to strengthen the existing fleet;
- The construction and development of new post offices as well as the completion of rehabilitation operations of existing post offices;
- Improving the means of handling citizens’ concerns, in particular through the commissioning of the Algerie Poste Call Center and the establishment of a complaints management system;
- The completion of the acquisition and deployment of the queue management solution in post offices.
2. GUARANTEE FINANCIAL INCLUSION AND PARTICIPATE IN ENCOURAGING THE EMERGENCE OF ELECTRONIC COMMERCE
Objective: Improve the postal financial inclusion and the deployment of a platform promoting the development of electronic commerce, in particular through:
- Launching the “AMAN@TIC” service allowing the collection, delivery and payment of e-commerce items;
- The generalization of the “Western Union” service at the level of postal establishments.
- Carrying out a feasibility study for the creation of a Postal Bank.
3. CONSOLIDATE THE ROLE OF ALGÉRIE POSTE AS A VECTOR FOR THE DEPLOYMENT OF PUBLIC SERVICES
Objective: Provide postal services to people who cannot travel to post offices as well as the optimization of the postal network, in particular through:
- The launch of home payment for elderly people or those with specific needs;
- Making the postal network available to economic operators for carrying out invoice collection or debt recovery operations.
4. GENERALIZE ACCESS FOR EVERYONE AND EVERYWHERE THROUGH REVITALIZING THE PROJECTS FINANCED BY THE UNIVERSAL POSTAL SERVICE FUND.
Objective: Intensify actions to implement projects registered under the Universal Postal Service Fund as a State instrument allowing access to services for the entire population.
This axis aims to support, as part of the universal service, areas not served by the postal network.
