This annual event attracts many children from across the country since it constitutes a platform to express their concerns, wishes and thoughts freely. It allows finding out their talents through their creations and masterpieces in several languages with the sole aim to honor Algeria internationally.

It is about the national letter-writing competition for children organized each year by the Ministry of Post and Telecommunications jointly with the Ministry of National Education along with the concerned sectors and bodies. This is aimed for preparing Algeria’s participation in the international letter-writing competition for children organized by the Universal Postal Union (UPU).

This competition is an excellent means to contribute in developing children’s capacities in letter-writing and in refining their communication skills through expressing themselves by use of words. Besides, it will contribute in highlighting the social and educational role of the postal sector in our daily life.
