The activities on sensitive equipment are governed by the following regulations :
the Executive Decree No. 09-410 of 23 Dhu Al Hijjah 1430 corresponding to 10 December 2009 setting the safety requirements applicable to activities involving sensitive equipment
The Interministerial order of 15 Dhu Al Kaada 1432 corresponding to 13 October 2011 setting the conditions and procedures for the acquisition, holding, operation, use and disposal of sensitive equipment
The execution of the import, export, manufacture, sale, installation, maintenance and repair of sensitive equipment is subjected to getting the accreditation of Type I. The accreditation is issued by the services of the Ministry of the Interior and Local Authorities after notification of the Ministry of Information Technologies and Communication and the Ministry of National Defense (with regard to sensitive equipment categorised in the sub Sections 1 and 2 in section A of Annex I of Executive order).
Holders of mobile telephony licenses and enterprises which comes under the supervision of the Ministry of Defence are not subject to accreditations.
The authorization application is joined to a file which is handed to the Ministry of the Interior in three (03) copies.

The procurement of sensitive equipment on the domestic or foreign market is subjected to prior authorization which is issued as appropriate by the Ministry of Information Technologies and Communication or the Wali of the province hosting the activity for an individual or the head office’s address for the legal entity, with a prior agreement of Ministries of Defence and Interior.
The acquisition of sensitive equipment aimed at holding, operating and use for the national or foreign market is subjected to receiving an acquisition permit from the Ministry of Information Technology and communication.
The request for authorization for procurement is accompanied by a file, which is handed to the wilaya services that have territorial jurisdiction in four copies. Authorization’s application package acquisition to be submitted by individuals or legal entity for ends of possession.
Until 1 September 2015, the services of MPTIC have issued 480 acquisition permits of sensitive equipment, divided into industry as follows :

Until 1 September of the year 2015, 54 dossiers of requests for notification from the Ministry of the Interior and Local Government (MICL), were processed, with regard to accrediting the companies for the execution of activities involving sensitive equipment.
